1. Service Overview
Mcarthur Records Ltd provides VEVO channel creation services to artists, labels, and distributors. This service includes:
- Creation and verification of an official VEVO artist channel
- Custom channel branding and configuration
- Video upload and management setup
- Analytics dashboard access
- Monetization setup assistance
- Priority support for channel-related issues
2. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for VEVO channel creation, you must:
- Be a registered user of Mcarthur Records with an active account
- Own or control the rights to all content that will be uploaded to the channel
- Have at least one professionally produced music video ready for upload
- Provide accurate and complete information in your request
- Accept and comply with these Terms and Conditions
- Accept and comply with VEVO's platform terms and policies
Important: We reserve the right to reject any request that does not meet our eligibility requirements or quality standards.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Service Fee
The standard fee for VEVO channel creation is £20.00. The fee is subject to discounts based on your current subscription plan with Mcarthur Records.
3.2 Discount Structure
- Artist Plans: 0% (Free), 10% (Starter), 20% (Pro), 30% (Ultimate)
- Label Plans: 0% (Free), 15% (Starter), 25% (Pro), 35% (Ultimate)
- Distributor Plans: 20% (Starter), 30% (Pro), 40% (Ultimate)
3.3 Payment Terms
- Payment is required at the time of request submission
- All fees are in GBP (£) and include applicable taxes
- Payment is processed securely through our payment gateway
- Discounts are applied based on your active subscription plan at the time of payment
Important: The fee is non-refundable once the channel creation process has begun. Refunds are only available if we are unable to create your channel due to our error.
4. Your Responsibilities
As a VEVO channel applicant, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
- Own or have proper licenses for all content you submit
- Ensure your content does not infringe on any third-party rights
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Comply with VEVO's platform policies and content guidelines
- Notify us immediately of any changes to your information
- Cooperate with us during the channel creation process
5. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on VEVO channels:
- Copyrighted material without proper authorization
- Content that is illegal, obscene, or defamatory
- Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred
- Content that infringes on privacy or publicity rights
- Content that violates VEVO's terms of service
- Content that contains malware or harmful code
- Content that is misleading or fraudulent
6. Intellectual Property Rights

You retain all ownership rights to your content. By submitting a request, you grant Mcarthur Records Ltd a limited license to:

- Use your content for promotional purposes with your consent

7. Channel Management
Once your VEVO channel is created:

- You must ensure all content uploaded complies with VEVO's policies
- We provide support for technical issues related to channel setup
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms
- We may make changes to the service to improve functionality
8. Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer: To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We provide services "as is" without warranties of any kind
- Mcarthur Records Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service
- We are not responsible for VEVO platform changes or technical issues
- We are not responsible for lost revenue or business opportunities
9. Termination
Mcarthur Records Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to VEVO channel services if:
- You violate these Terms and Conditions
- You violate VEVO's platform policies
- We receive a valid complaint about your content
- We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity
- We discontinue the service for any reason
